Exhaust Ducting Attached to a Airmover. This Allows Us to Exhaust the Humid Air Outside

ITA 75 is a Heat Exchange Burner which Only Allows Heated Air Into the Structure. Heated Air Goes Through the 16” High Heat Hose in a Door and Into the Drying Area. The Clearer Hose is the Humid Air Being Exhausted Out.  The ITA 75 is Thermostatically Controlled.  This Allows Use Set the Desired Temperature  In the Drying Area and At the Same Time Help Prevent the Potential for Mold and Other Related Problems that Might Arise During the Drying Process

Heated Air Into the Drying Area and Humid Air Exhausted Outside.

Because This Was a Office Building We Had To Use the Same Door for the Heated In and Humid Air Exhausted

Portable Thermal Energy Drying Systems and VapairVent Ventilation System

ELE 6400, Eliminator and the VapairVent Ventilation System

ELE 6400 Is Putting Heated Air Into the Squirrel Fan Side of the Air Mover. The Air Mover is Pushing the Heated Air Into the Ceiling Cavity. The Thermostat Probe Is Put Into the Ceiling Cavity. This Gives the Actual Temperature Inside the Ceiling Cavity.

Video of the VapairVent Ventilation System Exhausting Out Bathroom Exhaust Fan

Using the Eliminator and a Air Mover to Float Carpet (Heat Drying). We used 2 circuits of the Eliminator. We ducted the heat through Mylar ducting to the squirrel fan (air intake) side of a air mover. The thermostat sensor was on top of the carpet, but you can also put the sensor under the carpet. The sensor and thermostat are a very important part of heat drying. The thermostat allows us to control the heat used to dry the carpet, padding and subfloor.

Thermal Drying

The known concept that it takes a certain amount of energy to convert water into water vapor (evaporation). The quicker energy is put into the water, the faster the water evaporates and the building dries. We use this system to dry carpet, pad, walls, even behind cabinets and showers, etc...Without Demolition. Reducing damage costs and inconvenience by up to 75%.

Heat provides the main source of energy to create evaporation. Adding air movement creates a synergistic effect which results in faster evaporation. Air exchange is a well known method for removing large quantities of moisture laden air fast and efficiently. We take an air-mover, connect lay flat ducting, vent the tube outside and remove moisture laden air much faster than you can remove the water from the air with a dehumidifier. A modest 2000 cfm heat drying system can exchange the air volume in a 2500sf building with 9’ ceilings once every 11 ¼ minutes. Air exchange is an integral part of most heat drying systems and air exchange can keep up with the fast evaporation rates heat drying produces.

Heat can dry the structure without removing baseboard, tile cove base, cabinets, etc…

Heat penetrates deep into and through building materials drying areas that are not accessible. Certain materials become irreversibly damaged when wet. Example: MDF or compressed paper baseboard. However, removing these damaged materials after drying, versus removal when wet, reduces the chance of unnecessary secondary damage. Using our Thermal Energy Drying Systems allows us dry your home fast and at the same time reduce the chance for unnecessary demolition which gets you back to normal

This video is after two days after we started drying. We pulled 2 layers of vinyl flooring and 1/4” layer of subfloor.  The floor was black when we started. We treated the floor and heat dried the flooring, kitchen cabinets and drywall. As you can see in the video after two days the floors are much more white and dry.
